 Veterans Services

The County Veterans Service Office (CVSO) serves all veterans and their dependents, helping to present and pursue any claim against the Department of Veterans Affairs. Every effort is made to establish the right of veterans and dependents to any privilege, preference, care or compensation provided by the Federal or State government.

The Napa County Veterans Service Office provides assistance with completion of claims forms, obtaining documents and other evidence necessary to support claims and preparation of appeals of adverse decisions. Information about and referral to other service providers and programs is also provided.

Veterans Orientations

We conduct an orientation to veterans services on the second Tuesday of each month at 1pm. The one-hour program, held at 650 Imperial Way, covers the major benefit programs from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (“The VA”), the California Department of Veterans Affairs (CalVet) and local programs as well. Following the orientation attendees can make appointments to meet with a veterans representative to discuss issues and apply for benefits. For reservations, please call (707) 253-4558
