Expo breaks recycling record at this year's Fair
County recycling staff, who work closely with the City and Napa Recycling and Waste Services, tell us that the Napa Town & Country Fair at the Expo in August diverted 88% of its garbage away from landfills and into composting or recycling. More than 64 tons of trash were composted during the 5-day fair. More than 22 tons of trash were recycled, and just over 12 tons went to the landfill. Last year, the rate was 83%. In 2011, it was 81%. Way to go!
It is so easy to recycle or reuse.
