Art in the Library NVPSFebruary Art in the Library features local photographers
Napa Valley Photographic Society artists will display their "Viewpoints" exhibition, featuring more than 30 photographs, throughout February at the Napa County Library. Join us for a reception on Friday, Feb. 21, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Napa Main Library, 580 Coombs Street in Napa. Election BallotMany County offices on June 3 ballot
Want to run for an office that will appear on the June 3, 2014, Primary election ballot? The filing period closes March 7. Local offices on the June 3 ballot include Napa County Supervisor Districts 1 and 3, Assessor-Recorder-County Clerk, District Attorney, Sheriff-Coroner,  Auditor-Controller, Treasurer-Tax Collector and Superintendent of Schools. Find more information on becoming a candidate for public office on the Election Division pages.
 
 
TaxPay second installment taxes by April 10
The Treasurer-Tax Collector reminds us all that the second installment of the 2013-2014 Secured Property Taxes became due Feb. 1, 2014, and will become delinquent after April 10, 2014.  Visit the Tax Collector's web pages to get all the information you need about paying your taxes or call (707) 253-4312.
 
 
Closed signMost County offices closed Feb. 17
Most County offices will be closed on Monday, Feb. 17, in observance of Presidents' Day. Some 24-hour facilities, such as the Jail and Juvenile Justice Center, will be open. Please call ahead before visiting those facilities to ensure the services you need will be available.
