Drug Takeback Events on April 26
On Saturday, April 26, you can rid your home of dangerous, expired, unused and unwanted prescription drugs. No questions asked. Four locations around the County and controlled substances ARE accepted. No syringes. Sponsored by the Napa Sheriff's office and the Drug Enforcement Agency.

Grants available for Visitor Management projects
The annual grant application process has begun for the Napa County Special Projects Funds that are set aside for visitor management and tourism marketing. If you are seeking funding for a project that builds overnight tourism in Napa County, please apply by May 1!

May is Watershed Awareness Month!
On May 18, you can explore the Napa River watershed from top to bottom, with open house and tours at six sites, from the Lake Hennessey Water Treatment Plant to the Napa-Sonoma Marsh, courtesy of the Watershed Information Center & Conservancy.

Only 25% of adults with mental health symptoms believe that people are caring and sympathetic to persons with mental illness. You can change that by learning more about mental health in our community, courtesy of the Mental Health Division and community partners.

Rutherford Road will close for bridge repair
Caltrans reports that Rutherford Road (Hwy 128) will be closed to thru traffic from May 5 to May 16, while crews repair the Hopper Slough Bridge. Limited access will be available to residents and businesses in the area. Everyone else is asked to use detours.

Auction of tax-defaulted properties in May
The Treasurer-Tax Collector will hold an Internet-based auction of tax-defaulted properties (in default five or more years) May 17 through 20.
