Welcome to the Napa County District Attorney's Web site. I am pleased to provide this opportunity for the citizens of Napa County to learn more about the District Attorney's Office and to share your concerns with us.
As a result of the dedicated staff of my office, and a strong Board of Supervisors who insure that public safety is a top priority of local government, we can continue to maintain the high quality of life resulting in our community being one of the safest areas in California to live, work and raise a family.
As your District Attorney, my duty is to protect all citizens of Napa County by aggressively prosecuting those who threaten our safety. The reputation that my office has earned in this regard is one that I am proud of, particularly through prosecuting violent criminals, "three strikers", sexual predators, gang offenders and environmental violators. However, I am equally proud of the efforts of many in my office to work closely with crime victims to allow them to become crime survivors. I am also a strong supporter of the many members of my staff who work together with other concerned citizens in the community through outreach programs designed towards prevention of domestic violence, child abuse, gang violence and other senseless crimes; and, further, of intervention programs designed to give new opportunities to early, non-serious criminal and drug-addicted offenders.
