 A: If you are a Vote By Mail voter:
Vote By Mail Voters should receive their ballot approximately 20 days before Election Day. The voted ballot should be placed in the return envelope, sealed and the envelope signed.

•The ballot can be dropped in the USPS mail up until the Thursday before the Election.
•The ballot can be brought to our office 900 Coombs St Rm 256 Napa CA 94559 (20 minute Election Parking on the top floor of the 2nd Street Parking Garage between Brown and Coombs Streets with direct access to our office on the top floor from the garage).
•The ballot can be taken to any of the Vote By Mail Assistance Centers beginning the Saturday before the Election.

A: If you are a polling place voter:
You can obtain a ballot by any of the following methods:

•Use the Your Voter Information service to Request a Vote By Mail Ballot. Complete the application and send to the Election Division no later than the Tuesday before the election.

•Use the form on the back of your sample ballot booklet which will arrive approximately 20 days before the election.

•Send a letter (or fax to 253-4190) to the Election Division requesting a vote by mail ballot. The letter must show your current residence address, the address to which the ballot should be mailed (if different) and must have your signature.

•Come in person to our office

•Go to any Vote by Mail Assistance Center beginning the Saturday before the Election (ONLY IF YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO GO TO YOUR POLLING PLACE ON ELECTION DAY.)
