Decline In Value Review
As part of our ongoing effort to ensure properties are fairly assessed, we will be reviewing most single-family residences, including condominiums, as of Jan. 1, 2013. We have already reduced the value of more than 12,000 properties as of Jan. 1, 2012.
Think your property has declined in value?
Submit your request for an informal review by May 15, 2013.
We welcome inquires from property owners who believe their property may have declined in value. We use sales of property between April 1, 2012, and March 31, 2013, to conduct that review. To assist us in completing our review prior to closing the assessment roll on June 30, 2013 please submit your request for an informal review by May 15, 2013.
The results of that review will be available after July 15, 2013 via the County website . Notices can be searched by either assessor parcel number or by the property address.

visiting our office in person to pick up your notice.
The basic information on the value notice is also shown on the property tax bill that you receive in October of each year.
