Alicia Jaramillo has been a District Attorney's Office criminal division investigator at Napa County since 2002. She investigates cases that are being prosecuted by the DA's office, including interviewing victims and witnesses in English or Spanish. She also assists in preparing felony cases for trial. She is a full peace officer, meaning she is "on call" to respond as a peace officer 24 hours a day, although she usually works a traditional work week. She does most of her work in person, on the telephone or on the computer. She has several accreditations and certificates in law enforcement and often attends training classes to keep her skills and certifications current.
