This projects work generally consists of, but is not limited to all labor and material for:

The washing, priming, caulking and painting of all exterior walls, window frames (exterior and interior), and exterior handrails of the building.

Removing and replacing approximately 140 exterior single pane windows with new double pane Low-E3 Glass, energy efficient, Argon gas filled window units.

Removing and replacing approximately 63 exterior double pane windows with new double pane Low-E3 Glass, energy efficient, Argon gas filled window units.

Removing and replacing 3 offset pivot entrance doors and insulated glass units.

(Contractor is responsible for all measurements).

The building will remain open for regular business during construction.

A mandatory pre-bid site visit at the project site was scheduled for March 31, 2014 at 10 A.M. at the lobby of 650 Imperial Way.

Contractor shall possess a B license at the time of the contract award.  Engineer's estimate: $203,000. The bid opening date was changed to April 24 at 1:00 P.M. No bids were accepted after that time.  Below are the 3 apparent low bidders.  The Board awarded the contract to Home Tech Remodeling Inc on Tuesday, May 13, 2014.
