SPECIAL SECURITY PROCEDURES REQUIRED FOR BIDDING THIS PROJECT

Engineer's Estimate $862,000

A valid visitor security clearance must be on file (an individual cleared within 6 months of the walkthrough date) or a new Visitor Security Clearance Form submitted and cleared prior to attending the mandatory pre-bid site visit or viewing the plans.  In addition to the Visitor Security Clearance Form a notarizedd Bid Period Non Disclosure Agreement (BPNDA) must be completed by the prospective bidder and received by the County prior to reviewing the Plans.  Plans may only be seen by appointment a the office of County of Napa Department of Corrections 1125 Third St. Napa, California.  Appointment can be scheduled by e-mailing Ginny.Leija@countyofnapa.org

 

Work on this projects involves demolition and replacement of existing Ruskin smoke damper actuators and testing the assembly, installing a damper monitoring and control system, installing electrical conduit, smoke testing, smoke and fire proofing, and interfacing with the existing fire alarm panel.  One mandatory pre-bid site visit for Contractors and Subcontractors bidding the project is scheduled for July 12, 2013 at 10:00 am.   View, print or download the Contract Documents.  View, print or download the Technical Specifications.   Bid opening date is July 25, 2013 at 3:30 PM, no bids will be accepted after 3:30 PM.
