 Employment Services

The Workforce Investment Act (WIA) Program provides eligible individuals with services designed to promote an increase in employment, job retention, earnings increase, and occupational skills.

Career Center

Self directed and informational services are provided at our Career Center located at 2751 Napa Valley Corporate Drive, Building A. Job seekers are encouraged to take advantage of these services including:
• Free job search workshops available
• Current job listings
• Access to computers for job search
• Resumé assistance
• Job application assistance
• Hiring events
• Technology for people with disabilities

Anyone can access our job search software system from any computer by registering at This system provides a wide range of information and services for job seekers and employers and covers a wide range of topics including Veteran Services, Senior Services, Labor Market Information, and Job Market Trends. There is also an events calendar and access to sign up for workshops.

WIA Program

Once registered at, job seekers can receive a WIA Program Overview and appointment with an employment counselor. This overview provides information about the eligibility requirements and process to explore enrollment in the WIA Program.
Program flow includes receiving support from your own employment counselor to review labor market information, complete a vocational assessment and receive assistance with job search and job readiness skills to obtain gainful employment.
Training services may be available as applicable and are designed to increase participants’ skills in demand occupations.

WIA Eligibility Requirements

• Adults 18 years and older
• Proof of legal right to work in the United States
• Proof that Selective Service requirements have been met for males aged 50 and under
