 The Employment and Training Division provides job search, employment and training services for Napa County residents and employers. 


Career Center Class Schedule  

WE CAN HELP YOU find a job, get a better paying job, and develop your career!

We have Job Developers who work with local and regional employers to identify up to date employment and training opportunities.


Napa Valley Adult Educatio provides FREE Career Readiness workshops onsite at the Napa Career Center. All you have to do is sign up and show up! Click here for a calendar of classes or to sign up. 

We also provide job seekers with current job listings & connections to employers updated weekly on positions that range from no experience needed - entry level positions - mid level management and even executive level opportunities. If you are interested in receiving job leads by email let us know when you stop by, or email

  • Access to federal training programs - all you have to do is ask us about WIOA.

Anyone can access our job search software system from any computer by registering on CalJOBs. This system provides a wide range of information and services for job seekers and employers. CalJOBs covers topics including Veteran Services, Senior Services, Labor Market Information, and Job Market Trends.

Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Program

Once registered at CalJOBs, job seekers can receive additional information about available training and resources for in-demand occupations through the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act. Napa County has two WIOA programs, one to serve adults and one to serve youth. Additional information on the WIOA adult program can be found by visiting the Career Center. To be eligible for the WIOA adult program you must be 18 years or older, have proof of legal right to work in the United States, and have proof that Selective Service requirements have been met for males who are age 50 or younger.

Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Youth Program

Provides vocational services to Napa County youth between the ages of 14-24 years old who have a barrier to employment. The goal of the WIOA youth program is to help youth acquire the necessary skills and work experience to successfully transition into adulthood, careers, and further education and training.
