Devlin Road Extension
We have completed the extension of Devlin Road south of Airport Boulevard!
A 1,200-foot extension of Devlin Road in the Airport Industrial Area was officially opened for traffic on January 9, completing an important vehicle connection for business park commerce and adding nearly ¼ mile to the Vine Trail. The Devlin Road extension, a key component of the County’s strategy to revitalize the local economy, closes a 1,200-linear-foot gap in Devlin Road between Airport Boulevard and Airpark Road to the south.
In addition, the County included in the project a Class 1 multi-use path for bicyclists and pedestrians that runs parallel to Devlin Road and will serve as an extension of the Vine Trail.
The engineer for the project design was TLA Engineering of Roseville and the contractor was Ghilotti Brothers of San Rafael. The $2.5 million project was funded by Traffic Mitigation Fees and property owner contributions through a Community Facilities District formed for the project.
District 5 Supervisor Keith Caldwell, along with supervisors Brad Wagenknecht and Bill Dodd and American Canyon Mayor Leon Garcia, were joined by representatives from the Vine Trail at the ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The Project Manager for the project is Mallika Ramachandran, (707) 259-8194.
The completed segment of Devlin Road is in the area identified as Segment C;
