On September 11 President Obama declared a partial major disaster. At this time we are still waiting for a decision on FEMA assistance for individuals and households. We thank everyone for their patience and resilience during this difficult time. The City and County of Napa continue to operate the Napa Local Assistance Center (Napa LAC) at 301 First Street in Napa providing earthquake recovery resources. Flu vaccine healthcare workersInFLUence Others: Get vaccinated and help Napa County be flu free!
It's almost flu season! Napa County Public health will offer free flu vaccine to anyone age three years and older at 10 flu clinics across Napa County. The first community flu clinic is Saturday, September 20 from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at the Yountville Community Center, 6516 Washington Street. Find the date and location of the flu clinic closest to you!
 
 
Watershed shotSept. 20 is the 30th Annual Coastal Cleanup Day
Join hundreds of people across Napa County for the 30th Annual Coastal Cleanup Day, Saturday, September 20.  Be a part of the a statewide effort to clean trash and debris from beaches, bays, creeks, rivers, and lakes. In Napa County last year, 337 volunteers collected 5,800 pounds of trash and 2,700 pounds of recyclables!  Visit this webpage to find where you can help.

The Sheriff’s Office will accept potentially dangerous, expired, unused and unwanted prescription drugs on Saturday, September 27 from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. in American Canyon, Napa and Yountville and on Sunday, September 28 in Angwin. Hands Only CPROn Oct. 4 take 10 minutes to save a life: Learn "Hands Only CPR"

The Lake Berryessa Resort Improvement District is currently working with the State of California Division of Drinking Water on funding assistance for the water intake replacement/rehabilitation project.  We will provide an update as soon as it becomes available, and again, we thank all of the residents affected by the water emergency for their patience and continued conservation of water.
