The Child Support Services Department has opened a temporary customer services center at 1226 Third Street in Napa (Corner of Coombs and Third Streets).  Clients are encouraged to call (707) 253-4252 to schedule an appointment.  For more information contact karina.castaneda@countyofnapa.org.
 
 
Hands Only CPROn Oct. 4 take 10 minutes to save a life: Learn "Hands Only CPR"
The City of Napa Fire Department will offer free classes teaching “Hands Only CPR” in local parks on the 1st Saturday of the month through December.  Next class is October 4 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Century Oaks Park, 1013 Centuray Oaks Dr. in Napa.  For more dates and locations checkout page 4 of the City of Napa Parks and Rec Guide.  For more information email Firefighter/Paramedic Kevin Horn or call (707) 761-8485.
 
 
Flu vaccine healthcare workersInFLUence Others: Get vaccinated and help Napa County be flu free!
Napa County Public Health will offer free flu vaccine to anyone age three years and older at flu clinics across Napa County in October and November. The next community flu clinic is Wednesday, October 6 from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at the Napa Senior Center, 1500 Jefferson Street. Find the date and location of the flu clinic closest to you!
 
 
2014 BoardNew location for the next Board meeting Tuesday, Oct. 7
As of Tuesday, October 7, the Board of Supervisors will begin meeting at the South Campus location of 2741 Napa Valley Corporate Drive, Building 2.  The agenda will be available the week of October 6. TaxHave you received your property tax bill?
Secured property tax bills were mailed out the week of September 22.  The first installment is due Saturday, November 1 and payable no later than Wednesday, December 10.  If you have not received your tax bill by mid-October, please call the Tax Collector's office at (707) 253-4312.

Join the Napa County Regional Park and Open Space District on Saturday, October 18 at 10:00 a.m. for light refreshments, a few short remarks, and guided walks and bike rides on the miles of new trails that will now be open to the public.  Meet at the Moore Creek Park staging area at 2607 Chiles - Pope Valley Road (about 1 mile north of Lake Hennessey and the junction of Chiles - Pope Valley Road with Highway 128).  Click here for more info.
 
 
Voter infoRegister to vote by Oct. 20!
Register to vote by Monday, October 20 at www.registertovote.ca.gov.  Napa County registered voters will be receiving the California Voter Information Guide, sample ballots and official ballots for voting by mail.  Any voter who has not received one or more of these mailings by Tuesday, October 14 should contact the election division at 1-888-494-8356 or elections@countyofnapa.org.
